Radicool NF Antifreeze coolant Description Castrol Radicool NF is an antifreeze concentrate formulated using monoethylene glycol and selected additives, free from nitrite, amine and phosphate inhibitors. It uses hybrid technology for the modern performance engines of cars and trucks. This coolant should be used at concentrations between 33% and 50% dilution with purified water to give optimum corrosion protection and freezing protection between -18°C and -36 °C. Application Castrol Radicool NF has been developed to meet the growing demand from engine and vehicle manufacturers for a higher performance coolant that minimises environmental impact. It provides excellent protection against corrosion and because it contains no phosphate, the problems of deposits in some modern performance engines are eliminated. In addition to providing excellent corrosion and low temperature protection, the use of the recommended level of anti-freeze will significantly reduce the likelihood of wet cylinder liner pitting due to “cavitation erosion”. Cavitation erosion is caused by the implosion of air bubbles present in the coolant, which are attracted to the liner outer surface. These bubbles implode, resulting in the removal of minute amounts of liner material, which if allowed to continue unchecked will result in liner porosity and severe engine damage. In the majority of cases, coolants are not compatible and should not be mixed with other coolants unless directed by the equipment manufacturer. If using Castrol Radicool NF for the first time, ensure that the cooling system has been adequately flushed with clean water. Agri Grease is a high performance grease for a wide range of farm and associated machinery applications, including cars, trucks, 4WD’s and pumps.
It has been proven in the field as a performer in severe duty applications, protecting ball and roller bearings, especially on-land/on-road, high load applications.
It is also suitable for general chassis greasing, ball joints, CV joints and other plain bearing lubrication.
*Although generally compatible with other lithium-based greases Agri Grease Plus’ superior performance will be diminished by mixing with other greases. It is not compatible with bentone (clay) or aluminium complex greases.
Housings or grease ways should be either pre-cleaned or flushed to remove old lubricants before use.

It has the advantage of being more robust than both conventional and organic acid technology (OAT) coolants and enables use of a single product in the cooling systems of mixed fleets of heavy duty diesel engines. Castrol Radicool PG Premix is a low silicate, phosphate and amine free product. It is recommended for use in all heavyduty diesel applications where it provides excellent high temperature aluminium protection. Castrol Radicool PG Premix has been premixed to 50% v/v with demineralised water. It does not require an initial charge of supplemental coolant additives (SCAs) upon initial fill in heavy duty diesel applications as the product is specially formulated to protect heavy duty diesel wet sleeve liners. How to Use Castrol Radicool PG Premix is shown to be chemically compatible with other OAT or conventional type heavy duty coolants However to maintain the full benefits of its extended service life formula, it is strongly recommended that the diesel cooling system is completely drained and refilled with Castrol Radicool PG Premix. Any chemical filters (containing SCA) should be replaced with blank filters. For further advice when changing coolant brands, please contact the Technical Services Manager in your local Castrol office or the Castrol Technical Advice Line on 1300 557 998. Do not add Castrol Radicool PG Premix, to a cooling system which is already in contaminated or poor condition. If deposits have accumulated in radiators, hoses, reservoirs or on heat transfer surfaces, the cooling system must be flushed out with fresh water to remove contaminants and then drained completely. If this is not sufficient then the affected components should be removed if necessary and physically or chemically cleaned. The cooling system can then be filled with Castrol Radicool PG Premix.
